T. L. Scott update

 Hello again,

Things have been busy. I am sure they have been for you as well. The audiobook for Shifting Sands has been released. Randy McCarten did a fantastic job with the narration. Of course, I recommend you listen to it. I also strongly encourage you to listen to anything else he has lent his talents to. He is that good.

The third book in the Scary children's picture book series, A Fairy Good Night, is in the final stages of illustration. Zoe Branish has really brought the story to life with her exceptional talent. I hope to have it released between late June and early July.

The third book in the Bill Thompson series is in the works. If you enjoyed Fault Line and Shifting Sands, you will also appreciate this one. A few years have passed since Bill confronted Miguel. Isabella and Bill are married, and they have adopted Izzy, Isabella's niece. After a particularly demanding case, they have decided to take a well-deserved vacation in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. If you are familiar with this series, you know they are action-packed. I will keep you updated as this story progresses toward its conclusion. I am open to suggestions for the title. If I were to choose your recommendation, I would send you a signed first-edition copy.

For those of you following Jake and Clare as they struggle through alternate realities I am also working on the third installment in their story. There is so much more going on than we have seen up to now. The mysterious Khalid is back and has much more to reveal.

I hope you are doing well and have lost yourself in some great stories since we last talked.

I wish you the very best,

T. L. Scott

A Scary Story Update

Hello faithful readers,

First off I want to apologize for not staying in touch more.  Things have been very busy and life has interrupted my routines.  I have moved from Europe back to America and started a job at a new organization.  Things are finally settling into a new and different rhythm and I am happy to report that there are some significant updates I have to share with you.

I have been visiting local public libraries and have met some wonderful people.  I love spreading the word about Scary and her adventures as well as the story of Dave and his family in the novel A Life Worth Living.  A wonderful woman I met at work invited me to attend a showing at a local art gallery.  It was a fantastic opportunity and I met some very interesting people.  While there, my eyes kept returning to one artists work.  She is a wonderful person and just so happens to also do illustrations for children's picture books.  We have met a few times and discussed the Scary story series.  I was very happy when she agreed to collaborate to bring the stories of Scary to life on the page.  I know that in a picture book the illustrations tell at least as much of the story as the written words.  Children relate with the story on all levels and these new illustrations will reveal a richer and more vibrant world.  I truly am excited about this collaboration and can't wait to reveal the updated Scary to you.

I will keep you updated as this continues to develop.

I look forward to talking with you again soon.  If any of you have any questions or would like to talk about any of the stories let me know.

All the best,

TL Scott
